Now you're ready to try some pretty cool tricks. If you take the tick-tock motion and begin to push out with one grip stick then pull back in with the other your flip stick will take on a sideways, circular motion called the Helicopter.
The helicopter is a very versitle trick... you can apply some heli-flips or even do the heli-twirl.
You can even use the motion of the helicopter to go behind the back. It helps to practice some heli-taps before attempting behind the back. To do this get the helicopter motion going then, every time the flip stick makes an X with one of your grip sticks hit straight up from under the centermark. Once you have this in control try taking it behind the back. This will take some practice.
