Jolly Lama Mamas (& Dads!)

“Because, sometimes, even great parents can use a little help.”

At Jolly Lama Creations, we believe in the power of higher education.  We also believe that attaining higher education is becoming ever more difficult at a time when it has never been more important to earn a college diploma.

That is why we have created the Jolly Lama Mama (JLM) Scholarship to provide families with financial assistance for post high school education.

Each year, beginning January 1, 2010, Jolly Lama Creations will donate 1% of all online revenues generated over JollyLama.com to a scholarship at year's end for the purpose of attending college.

At the end of the year one talented and ambitious person will be awarded this annual scholarship.

There are just two, free and easy parts to becoming a Jolly Lama Mama (or Dad!)

1.)    You must be the legal guardian of the person receiving the JLM Scholarship and the recipient must be under 18 years of age to be eligible

2.)    You need to register an account in the Jolly Lama Community and post photos and videos of the eligible participant(s) using any of the skill toys provided on JollyLama.com - More, creative videos and higher ‘Karma’ increase your chances of earning the JLM Scholarship

Who is a Jolly Lama Mama and how does one become a Jolly Lama Mama? 

If you are a parent (mom or dad) and you have a child under 18 years of age whom you have encouraged to use skill toys such as those on JollyLama.com and you have posted videos with of the participant(s) using any of the skill toys on JollyLama.com then you are an eligible Jolly Lama Mama.  You will need not “renew your membership” or “cancel your subscription.”

Jolly Lama Mamas (and Dads!) provide alternatives to TV and video games and encourage outdoor, physical activity with fun, productive toys and games that enhance hand-eye-coordination, bridge the left-right brain connection, inspire the mind and creativity, and boost self-esteem.

Jolly Lama Mamas understand that the little things are what build strong, healthy minds, bodies and lives.  Little things such as limiting video game time, making a healthy snack, playing catch, and reading before bedtime or helping with homework are what help build the foundation for tomorrow’s greatest leaders. 

At JollyLama.com we want to recognize the efforts of these mothers in their never-ending task of making a better tomorrow so we have established the Jolly Lama Mama scholarship.
